Patriots Sign OT Caleb Benenoch After Isaiah Wynn Injury News
By Jerry Trotta

Despite what their 2-0 record and outlandish scoring differential might tell you, the New England Patriots are severely beaten up on the front lines.
Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon suffered a shoulder injury late in the the team's Week 1 blowout win over the Steelers. Fast forward to Week 2's tilt against the Dolphins and starting LT Isaiah Wynn went down with what is being described as turf toe.
Wynn isn't expected to miss a significant period of time but he will be on the shelf long enough for Bill Belichick and Co. to bring in a reinforcement.
#Patriots LT Isaiah Wynn, who has impressed in early action this season, is considered week-to-week with turf toe, I’m told. The injury is not season-ending, though New England will be without him for the time being following tests on Monday.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Pats are signing former Buccaneers OT Caleb Benenoch on Tuesday.
Benenoch, a fourth-year pro out of UCLA, actually had close to 10 teams vying for his services, but he wanted to play for New England offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia.
Former #Bucs OT Caleb Benenoch is signing with the #Patriots today, source said. He had 9 teams request to work him out, but wanted to play for OL coach Dante Scarnecchia and now gets his wish.

So, the Pats managed to swoop in and get their guy on the cheap who could've potentially signed elsewhere for more money? What a SHOCKING development.
