Patriots' Spectacular Super Bowl LIII Rings Revealed
By Scott Rogust
As everyone knows, the New England Patriots won their sixth-ever Lombardi Trophy after defeating the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII. And on Thursday, the team was rewarded with the arrival of some gaudy rings at owner Robert Kraft's home. We'll be frank here-- they are downright impressive.
That's some serious ice.
This year's rings are encrusted with enough diamonds, that an individual can see them glimmering from over a mile away. On the front of the ring are six Lombardi Trophies, because, you know, they've won that many.
But let's talk about the details on the side of the jewelry: each player's name and number are engraved alongside an image of Gillette Stadium. On the opposite side is the score of Super Bowl LIII with the Patriots' famous slogan, "Still Here."
On the back of the rings are pairs of digits representing New England's previous five Super Bowl-winning seasons (2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016).
To the victors go the spoils. And Tom Brady and the Pats now have more spoils than they can wear on a single hand.
