Tom Brady's Stats Through 3 Games Are So Much Better Than Last Year it's Scary
By Ryan Flores
Tom Brady has always been an incredibly dominant quarterback.
However, color us surprised that he's even making leaps between age 41 and 42.
Though the competition has not been top-level, Brady's performance through his first three games this year, in comparison to last year, shows that somehow he's managed to personally level up yet again.
TB-12 didn't even complete this week's game against the Jets. Didn't have to.
Brady has been tearing teams apart in 2019, as his 911 yards with seven touchdowns and zero interceptions likely have fans thinking that he's going to win his seventh Super Bowl ring this year. You can't blame them for assuming, either, as he's willed the New England Patriots to a +89 point differential so far, which is the third best by a team through the third week of a season since 1940.
The previous best point differential for a Patriots team through three games was +79, which was in their undefeated season of 2007. It's far too early to say that Brady and the Pats are going to go undefeated again, but it's hard to ignore the sheer dominance he is enjoying this year...at 42. Forty-two. Forty. Two.
This team may not have superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski anymore, but it hardly looks as though they've skipped a beat, with more cushy schedule still to come. This just shows how special Brady and Bill Belichick truly are together.
