Paul George Dated Doc Rivers' Daughter and Cheated on Her, So That's Gonna Be Awkward

The NBA world was set on fire in the wee hours of Saturday morning as #KawhiWatch finally came to an end, with he and Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Paul George teaming up in Los Angeles as the newst members of the Clippers.

Once the dust settled on the groundbreaking moves, an uncomfortable detail regarding Paul George's personal history with his new coach, Doc Rivers, inevitably resurfaced. And it's all going to make things awkward greeting when PG13 and Doc officially come together in LA.

Back in 2014, when George and Rivers' daughter, Callie, were dating, George faced some pretty embarrassing public backlash when he was caught cheating on her with a stripper in Miami. The International Business Times reported that he impregnated the stripper and even offered her $1 million to abort the child, but she still followed through with the pregnancy.

Although George's camp denies all of this, it'll undoubtedly be at least a little awkward when Doc and PG shake hands for the first time at their introductory press conference.

If Doc Rivers history of trading his own son and then trading for the guy who cheated on his daughter is any indication of how he feels about winning on the court, he shouldn't have any problem letting George do his thing with Kawhi for the next few seasons despite these dicey, salacious allegations.

Winning is the name of the game in Rivers' eyes, so we'll have to wait and see how their relationship plays out once the season gets underway.
