Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George rocked No. 24 when he entered the league out of Fresno State in honor of his idol Kobe Bryant.

After a few years as a pro, however, George swapped his digits for the "more marketable" choice of No. 13, which paired well with his soon-to-be moniker of PG-13.

But following the tragic death of Bryant on Sunday, George is reportedly mulling reverting back to No. 24.

A handful of players across the league have opted to change jersey numbers in order to pay respect to Bryant, with guys like Spencer Dinwiddie and Terrence Ross vacating their No. 8 kits.

George seems to leaning a different direction with his tribute, as he's looking to go back to honoring Bryant by wearing his number.

George is a Los Angeles native and recently admitted that he actually started playing basketball because of Kobe. While he claims to have grown up a supporter of the Clippers (now that he's, uh, a Clipper), it's clear The Mamba's impact on the game and his life outweighed PG's fandom.
