VIDEO: Pelicans Surprising Brandon Ingram With All-Star News is Adorable

After a tumultuous season in Los Angeles, subject to constant trade rumors and health issues, Brandon Ingram has found himself as a fully healthy and resurgent member of the New Orleans Pelicans this year. As of Thursday's announcement, he's officially parlayed that into the very first All-Star appearance of his NBA career, with plenty of future still ahead of him. After coming back from a workout, BI's Pelicans teammates surprised him by breaking the news of his selection, as shown in this excellent video shared by David Griffin, the Pels' GM.

Amazing and humbling reaction from Ingram here, and don't sleep on how the man who came with him to New Orleans, Lonzo Ball, embraced him, even amid a tough season of his own.
Ingram has plenty of other first-timers to share the weekend with in Chicago, so he certainly won't be alone.
