People Are Claiming Someone Hacked Donovan Mitchell's 2K Account and Made Fake Kyrie in Lakers Gear
By Parker White

People will do and say anything for attention. NBA free agency is right around the corner, and one of the big-ticket items is point guard Kyrie Irving. Where will he sign? If you based it off 2K rumors, he's going to be a Laker.

Then the rumor going around is that someone hacked into Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell's Playstation Network account and changed the name to KIrving_1.
Whoever was on Mitchell's account at the time edited the avatar to look like Kyrie and dressed him in Lakers gear, insinuating that Irving would move to LA in free agency.

So, Kyrie has decided to hoop in 2K in Lakers gear? That could be something, if it was really Kyrie Irving.
But, KIrving_1 is not even his real gamertag.

And just to be clear, this isn't Donovan Mitchell playing a prank.
Just want y’all to know I haven’t played 2k in a while so whoever’s playing right now isn’t me ??

In summation, someone, likely a Laker fan, hacked Mitchell's PSN account and they tried to impersonate Irving, having him strut around in Lakers gear. Fans hoping that's where he'll sign this summer, and it seems they'll go to any lengths possible to lure the point guard to Los Angeles.
