VIDEO: Pete Alonso Crushing Random Objects With a Bat on 'The Late Show' is Too Much Fun
By Parker White
When you're a rookie and lead MLB in home runs with 53, you're going to get a lot of attention for that amazing accomplishment. Oh, and in the case of Pete Alonso, he plays in New York so it was only a matter of time until he made an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," which was glorious. Check him out crushing random objects with a bat:
Alonso is so right. Furby's were obnoxious. It deserved to be pummeled by Alonso's bat. After he crushed some kids toys at the beginning, it was only a matter of time until food was involved, such as watermelon, flour, a pumpkin, a meatball and cake.
Sadly, some dude's ride was covered in this mess. But kindly, Colbert and Alonso signed their bats and left it for the poor car owner.
And then they proceeded to bust up the 2009 Sedan even further with said bats.
