Pete Alonso Owns Random Fan Who Called Him Fat After Congratulating Mets Teammate Jacob deGrom
By Jerry Trotta

MLB confirmed the predictions of pundits and fans on Wednesday night when they tabbed New York Mets ace Jacob deGrom the NL Cy Young Award winner for the second consecutive season.
It was a deserved honor for the 31-year-old right-hander. After logging a 2.43 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 255 strikeouts, it was a pretty easy choice. Pete Alonso, the 2019 NL Rookie of the Year, unsurprisingly took to Twitter to congratulate his teammate on the feat.
Congrats to the best pitcher in the game!!!!! It’s unreal playing behind Jake. That killer mentality he takes on the mound every start is infectious and he is so deserving of this prestigious award. #deCy pic.twitter.com/eJWHbptUmo

As we know, however, Twitter is filled with cynics and trolls who love nothing more than to rain on the parades of others, and one particular MLB 'fan' shamed Alonso for his weight after he shouted out deGrom.
lose weight fatass

When you come at the Polar Bear, you best not miss, and Alonso promptly put this clown in a body bag with a simple, yet SAVAGE reply.

Game. Set. Match.
We're not entirely sure where some people get off mocking others on social media, and we'd normally advocate not even replying to them (because it's what they want), but Alonso handled this quite well.
