Two of New York's biggest stars are now tied in MLB history for the most home runs in a single season by a rookie with 52.

Well, despite sharing the impressive feat, it seems the two sluggers, Pete Alonso and Aaron Judge, have yet to meet.

And after tying Judge's record, Alonso said that "it'd be cool" to go out to dinner with the Yankees star slugger.

Two of the Empire State's most beloved sluggers meeting up for a slice would make for an iconic moment.

Unfortunately for Alonso, Judge won't be available to grab a bite for a while as, unlike the Mets, the Yankees will be playing baseball into October. Still, when the Yankees season comes to a close, hopefully Judge takes Polar Pete up on his offer.

Alonso has two games left to launch home run No. 53, and while Judge will be more focused on the upcoming postseason grind, he's probably hoping in the back of his mind that Alonso stalls at 52.
