The Seattle Seahawks needed reinforcements at running back and decided to go bring in a fan favorite by signing Marshawn Lynch, as well as adding Robert Turbin.

Lynch returns as a hero after so many iconic runs during his time with the Seahawks from 2010-2015. He has not played in a game all season and that means he should be healthy and ready to play. Pete Carroll expects the same, and said that he has "no hesitation" when it comes to utilizing Lynch on Sunday.

Carroll put Lynch through a normal week of preparation for Sunday and even admitted that he's just as excited as Seahawks fans to see Beast Mode back on the team.

Both Lynch and Turbin are veterans and have experience in Seattle's offense, however they face a tough task running against the dominant San Francisco 49ers defense in their first game back. Considering they're returning for a playoff push, this is the type of competition they'll need to prove they can handle.

Lynch played in a total of six games for the Oakland Raiders in 2018. He rushed for 376 yards and three touchdowns before hitting injured reserve. It seemed to be a disappointing end to a fun and successful career, but now Lynch is back and ready to take the field for the Seahawks once again, and Carroll's ready to unleash him.
