Pete Carroll steps down as Seahawks head coach in a stunner

It's the end of an era in Seattle. After so many great years with the Seattle Seahawks, highlighted by taking down the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl, Pete Carroll is out as head coach of the NFC West side. The massive news dropped on Wednesday.
This came a bit out of nowhere. It felt like Seattle could try and make a change, but with how beloved Carroll is, plenty of folks thought he'd be back for one more season. However, we now know that won't be the case.

Carroll has meant so much to the Seattle community and he was quite emotional during his goodbye press conference. Since this update dropped, former players have been showing him a ton of love on social media. More of the same will be on the way for the team legend.
