VIDEO: Peyton Manning Roasts Tom Brady Without Mercy After Announcement of COVID-19 Charity Golf Event
By Tyler Kemp
Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are almost certainly the greatest quarterbacks of the 21st century, and perhaps in all of NFL history. Just because Manning's retirement keeps them from squaring off on the gridiron against TB12 other doesn't mean that they cannot find time to renew their rivalry elsewhere, however. With the recent official announcement of a COVID-19 charity golf event featuring Manning and Brady being paired with Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, respectively, Peyton found some time to take a shot at his old adversary. And he did it again and again.
It never gets old with these two.
Manning mentions in the Zoom call featuring the four "Champions for Charity" competitors and Turner Sports host Ernie Johnson that it was necessary for the match to be in Florida because of the fact that Brady cannot leave the state due to his "breaking and entering" incident. Tiger and Peyton even “spoke with the sheriff of Tampa” so that Brady would be allowed to play in Palm Beach. Manning then goes ahead to mention how the tournament should have been played in locations where fans do not like Brady, like, Indianapolis, Denver... and Boston!
Brady cannot even respond. All he can do is put his head in his hand and smile, because he knows Manning has him beat. Manning has won this trash talk battle by escalating things to the max, but let’s see who wins the war once the tournament takes place during Memorial Day Weekend. You can bet that TB12 will have a fiery response ready.
