VIDEO: It Really Looks Like Philip Rivers Recorded This Welcome Message to the Colts on the Toilet
By Jack Murphy
Philip RIvers will be heading to Indianapolis next season after he spent the first 16 years of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers. The veteran quarterback recorded a video of himself expressing his excitement upon joining the Colts... but he probably should have waited until after he used the bathroom to make the video. Just a thought!
Seriously, the angle makes it look like the QB is seated upon the ol' porcelain throne.
While Rivers seems sincere about being a part of the Colts' organization, he should have put a bit more thought into setting up this shot. Did he not expect us to realize the shower curtains that are hanging right behind him?
To be fair, like many in the United States, Rivers may just be taking his quarantine as seriously as possible. Pairing that with the fact he also has nine children, the bathroom might just be the only place Rivers can get some privacy in his house.
Nonetheless, it is still odd for anyone to record a sincere introductory message while sitting on (or near) the can.
Despite the message, Colts fans are surely ecstatic about their new guy under center.
