VIDEO: Philip Rivers Embarrassingly Forced to Call Timeout at Home Due to Overload of Raiders Fans
By Karl Rasmussen

The Los Angeles Chargers' fan support is practically non-existent. Every game in their home stadium feels like a road game for LA, and that was no different on Sunday when the Oakland Raiders came to town. During a key fourth-down play, Philip Rivers was trying to get the signal from the sideline. Unfortunately, the crowd was too loud for him to pick up the call, forcing him to call a timeout. Keep in mind, this is a home game for the Chargers.

Technically.
Rivers was clearly frustrated, and rightfully so. Raiders fans showed up in numbers to Dignity Health Sports Park and turned what was slated as a home game for the Chargers into absolute mayhem.
This is straight up embarrassing for Chargers and their fanbase, as even on their home turf they are getting stood up by opposing supporters.
Just a quick glance into the crowd shows you just how little support the Chargers are receiving in Los Angeles; the stadium was packed with fans rocking Raiders' black and silver in their former home.

Raiders fans are living rent free in Rivers' head right now, and they're making it near-impossible for the offense to function on critical downs.
