It's officially the end of an era, as the Chargers announced on Monday the organization and Philip Rivers will part ways. For the first time since 2004, Rivers will look for a new team to call his own.

So, which front offices should get on the horn immediately to try and lure him to town?

4. Chicago Bears

Yup, this is a shot in the dark, but if the Bears really want to capitalize on their window, they might have to look for a veteran QB more capable of leading their offense. Mitchell Trubisky still has some time to make an impact, but Chicago doesn't have time for that. The Bears need to win now given how competitive the NFC North is, and Rivers could put them in a more favorable position to get back to the playoffs.

3. Miami Dolphins

After spending his entire career in sunny Southern California, it would only make sense for Rivers to keep playing in warm temperatures. Why not Miami? The Dolphins are in serious need of a new signal caller. Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer. While reports seem to indicate they're hoping to land Tua Tagovailoa in the upcoming NFL Draft, who better for him to learn from for a season or two than Rivers? He's a seasoned vet and could help shape Tua or whichever young signal caller they bring in.

2. Tennessee Titans

While Ryan Tannehill played admirably once he took over for Marcus Mariota, is he really the answer to help the Titans get over the hump? That's something Mike Vrabel needs to decide, as his defense was almost good enough to get them to the Super Bowl after stunning both the Patriots and Ravens. While Rivers is 38 going on 39, Tennessee could bring him in to take over the starting job in the event Tannehill leaves via free agency. The Titans were just a few plays away from making the Super Bowl and Rivers could be the difference maker.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa fans have somehow managed to survive the wild ride that is the Jameis Winston Experience for years now. How much longer will that show go on? Winston is a turnover machine, becoming the only QB in history to throw for 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in a single season. His inconsistency has haunted this organization from his first campaign. Is it time for change at QB1? Yes. Is Rivers the answer? That's for the front office to decide.
