Philip Rivers Has a Creepy New Mustache Now and Chargers Revealed it in Excellent Tweet
By Michael Luciano

Even Philip Rivers has gotten caught up in Gardner Minshew mania, it appears.
The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback, fresh off escaping Chicago with a win over the Bears by the literal slimmest of margins, decided that maybe a new look will be what breaks the offense out of their season-long slump (that, plus the firing of the Whisenator. He unveiled his new mustache at a weekly press conference and the result was...underwhelming.

Yeah...not sure what the thought process was behind this look.
Give the Chargers credit, though: they pumped up this reveal.

Then again, this is a guy who not only wears bolo ties, but wears them frequently, so he isn't the most reputable source on all things fashion-related, and has likely drawn the ire of the NFL's fashion police on more than one occasion.

Rivers, who has 2,315 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, is really good at many things, namely throwing the ball deep downfield and having kids, but pulling off good facial hair is not one of them.
