VIDEO: Bryce Harper Posts Vicious Clip of Practice Swing to Get Philly Ready for Baseball
By Adam Weinrib

In case you haven't been turned off yet by the seemingly endless debate over whether baseball will be playing 48 games, 89 games, or prorated half-games for 6.5 months in a biodome, allow Bryce Harper to snap you back to reality. The Phillies slugger has been keeping his swing sharp while in quarantine, and if this video he just posted is any indication, he's ready to go Yardy.

Ring that bell, indeed.
We're so happy that, after Harper's delayed free agency non-frenzy last year, he found a home in Philadelphia where he's able to fully express himself and let his full intensity out.
Clearly, the city and team mean a lot to him -- the 27-year-old slugger even took it upon himself to be the Phillies' official greeter during the MLB Draft's first round on Friday.
Bryce Harper got Mick Abel's number soon after the #Phillies selected him with the 15th overall pick. Harper made a FaceTime call and Abel answered, despite not recognizing the number. "I see his face pop up. I'm like, oh, that's Bryce Harper. What the heck?"

Heartwarming.
While we love seeing Harper uncork his powerful swing in private, we'd much rather all his teammates be surrounding him. Let's get Spring Training 2.0 going soon, huh?
