VIDEO: Phillies Pitcher Reggie McClain Makes Yankees' Gio Urshela Look Silly With Ridiculous Swing

In his first three MLB seasons, New York Yankees' third baseman Gio Urshela hit .225. In 2019, he hit .314, establishing himself as one of the NYY's offensive and defensive cornerstones. He is trying to replicate that success for 2020, but Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Reggie McClain made Urshela look like the hitter he was when he was with the Indians and Blue Jays on Monday.

When a hitter gets embarrassingly fooled by a pitch and has a terrible swing, people on Twitter use the term "sword" when describing the weak hack.

Suffice to say, Urshela won the PitchingNinja honor of "Sword of the Week" with this feeble swing.

In case this is what Urshela will look like offensively in 2020, he thankfully has an elite glove to keep him in the lineup.

However, it's hard to see him returning to that form, as he popped off in 2019, which included a streak of two straight games with two home runs. Despite that, McClain still embarrassed him with his nasty breaking ball.
