Phillies Undefeated During Lucky Bamboo Plant Era Following Monday Night Win
By Adam Weinrib

The Philadelphia Phillies have finally found their mojo in the form of a small potted plant.
After an extended slump threatened to define their season, the Phils busted out on offense in a big way in a 13-7 win Monday night. Maybe it was simply encountering the Mets at the right time. Or maybe it was a lucky bamboo plant, imported that very afternoon by Brad Miller.

Well, Mr. Miller (who was only just acquired from the Yankees) appears to have been correct, at least for one night.
So correct, in fact, that this might just be something the team adopts for a few weeks to get 'em going.

Ahhh, yes, you LOVE that social media engagement. You NEED that organic social media engagement.
Be careful, though, Phils. The last time a strange plant brought good fortune to the downtrodden, it ended up feasting on blood and human flesh and eating an entire Skid Row. No pressure.
