Phillies vs Braves Live Stream Reddit for Sunday's Game
By Brian Cass
It's a battle between the two top dogs in the NL East Sunday afternoon as the Philadelphia Phillies (39-31) face off against the Atlanta Braves (41-30). With the series tied up at one a piece, the winner of Sunday's matchup will take the series win.
How to Stream the Game
First pitch for the Phillies vs Braves ball game will be at 1:20 p.m. ET. It'll be televised on both FSSO and NSPA, and further streams for the game can be found on the MLB Live Stream subreddit page.
Phillies Lineup
Right-hander Vince Velasquez will be on the mound for Philly on Sunday. He's already made an appearance in this series, coming in during Game 1 to close out the seventh inning before being pulled. The starter-turned-reliever has appeared in relief in five of the last nine games for the Phils, so it's unclear as to how long manager Gabe Kapler plans on keeping him out there.
As for the Philly offense, they'll be without some key contributors today, as catcher J.T. Realmuto and left fielder Jay Bruce will both be in the dugout for Sunday. Catcher Andrew Knapp and left fielder Nick Williams will take their place.
Scott Kingery has been a bright spot in the Phils lineup as of late, going 3 for 3 with a two-run double and a walk in Saturday night's win in Atlanta. On the season, he's batting .347 with a 1.058 OPS. He'll be relied on once again on Sunday with two of the Phillies starters out.
Braves Lineup
Righty Mike Foltynewicz will take the mound Sunday, as he tries to tame the hot bats of the Phillies. He's had his fair share of struggles this season, posting a 1-5 record with a 6.02 ERA. His inability to get a feel for his slider - his primary weapon during his All-Star campaign last season - has really hindered his performance this year. He'll need to have a stellar outing if the Braves want to take the series win.
The lineup for the Braves on Sunday is completely unchanged from Saturday's matchup. Atlanta's offense bolsters a handful of sluggers who can homer at any given time. With first baseman Freddie Freeman leading the way, the Braves have totaled 105 homers as a ball club this season, good for 11th in the MLB.
With the first two games of this series being decided in the ninth inning, there's no reason to think Sunday's game won't come down to the wire either. We should be in for some great Sunday baseball, as these two teams continue to battle for position atop the NL East.
