The Philadelphia Phillies (44-40) head to SunTrust Park to take on the Atlanta Braves (50-35) in the first game of a pivotal three-game set. This is a huge chance for the Phillies to pick up ground on the Braves, who lead them by 5.5 games in the NL East.

The Phillies will look to carry momentum from their 13-6 win over the Marlins on Sunday into Atlanta. Jean Segura, Bryce Harper and Cesar Hernadez need to replicate their three-hit performances from the offensive outburst that saw the team collect 17 hits if they want a chance against this hot Braves squad.

The Braves' two starting All-Stars, Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuña Jr, look to help the team expand on its division lead. They went a combined 5-for-9 in Sunday's loss to the Mets, driving in three of the team's five runs on the night.
