By Brian Cass
Coming off a four-game sweep of the New York Mets, the Philadelphia Phillies (43-38) will head down to South Beach Friday night to take on the Miami Marlins (30-49) and kickoff their three-game set.
How to Stream the Game
Friday night's game between the Phils and Marlins will start at 7:10 p.m. ET and will be televised on both FSFL and WCAU. Further streams for the game can be found on the MLB Live Stream subreddit page.
Phillies Lineup
As for the Phillies lineup, Scott Kingery has proven to be the most effective leadoff hitter, so expect to see him atop the order going forward. Catcher J.T. Realmuto will be back in action after sitting out of Thursday's contest, as he'll be slotted in the five-hole behind cleanup man Rhys Hoskins. Jay Bruce, Cesar Hernandez and Maikel Franco will round out the rest of the Phils lineup.
Right hander Vince Velasquez will take the mound for Philly Friday night. In his last start against the Marlins on Saturday, the righty only allowed one hit in five innings.
Marlins Lineup
The Marlins lineup remains largely unchanged from what they rolled out on Thursday, with the exception of catcher Jorge Alfaro, who is making his return from the IL Friday after being sidelined with a concussion. He'll replace Bryan Holaday behind the plate and bat seventh.
RHP Elieser Hernandez will take the mound for Miami Friday night. Making his fourth start in the Marlins rotation, he'll be searching for his first win of the season when he faces the Phils.
It's always fun when two divisional teams matchup, and Friday night's game between Philly and Miami should be no different. Philly is looking to extract revenge on the Marlins who swept them in their most recent meeting.
