The Philadelphia Phillies (45-42) and New York Mets (39-48) begin an important weekend series right before the All-Star break, and with both teams struggling and looking up at the Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals, these three games could very well be season-defining.

How to Live Stream the Game

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET at Citi Field. The game will be televised on NBC Sports Philadelphia and SNY, and you can live stream the game via a link on the MLB Streams subreddit.

Phillies Lineup

Even though the Phillies were blasted in their final two games against the Braves, manager Gabe Kapler is keeping the lineup very similar. The only difference from Thursday is that third baseman Maikel Franco is back in the starting lineup and batting eighth. The usual suspects of Scott Kingery, Jean Segura and Bryce Harper will get things going for the Phils.

Bryce Harper went 3-for-10 with one home run and two RBI in the three-game set against Atlanta.

Right-hander Vince Velasquez has spent time in the rotation and the bullpen this season, but he'll get the start in this opening game against New York. In 19 appearances (nine starts) this season, Velasquez is 2-5 with a 4.73 ERA and has 60 strikeouts over 51.1 innings.

Mets Lineup

Pete Alonso has been red-hot over the last 15 games, slashing .352/.485/.741 with five home runs and 10 RBI. He's batting second, behind Jeff McNeil and ahead of Robinson Canó and Michael Conforto.

Just like the Phillies, the Mets aren't switching up the starting lineup, even though they've had their issues offensively.

In what will be his final start before the break, right-hander Jacob deGrom will get the start tonight in Flushing. deGrom has been great again this season, owning a 3.32 ERA with 128 strikeouts over 103 innings this season. He's been even better lately, posting a 2.80 ERA with 53 strikeouts over 45 innings in his last seven starts.
