The Philadelphia Phillies will take on the Detroit Tigers in the second game of a two-game series on Wednesday after defeating the last-place Tigers 3-2 the evening before.

Phillies Lineup
After a grueling 15-inning game in which Matthew Boyd struck out 8 Phillies, I would anticipate a tired dugout on both sides. That could explain Gabe Kapler's decision to rest Bryce Harper, who has been solid since the All-Star Break. Expect another big game tonight from Rhys Hoskins, who went 2-for-5 with two walks and an RBI in last night's game. César Hernandez, Scott Kingery and Hoskins will be the first three to the plate on Wednesday.

Vince Velasquez, who has struggled mightily in his last five starts, will take the mound for the Phillies. Hopefully playing against the worst team in the MLB will get him back on track.
Detroit Tigers Lineup
The Detroit Tigers will put out a lineup featuring Nicholas Castellanos, a popular name during trade discussions. Currently hitting .285, Castellanos would be a great piece on a contending team. He's hitting in the three-hole on Wednesday, batting behind JaCoby Jones and Harold Castro.

Right-hander Jordan Zimmermann will go against some familiar faces on the Phillies after his stint in Washington. Zimmermann has an 0-7 record and 7.51 ERA this season, which bodes well for the Phils chances.
