Philly Broadcaster Has the Worst Mike Trout Take About Quarantined Baseball in 2020
By Michael Luciano

Philadelphia sports talk radio is an infinite well of nothing, as personalities like Angelo Cataldi and Howard Eskin combine the emotional, vitriolic nature of Philadelphia sports fans with the headline-stealing hot takes of a national talking head.
The former's latest salvo is directed at Los Angeles Angels superstar and Millville, N.J. native Mike Trout, who claimed that he sees a lot of "red flags" in MLB's plan to get games started back up again amid the coronavirus pandemic. Cataldi called Trout a "fraud" and "pampered," which prompted the Twitter world to sharpen the pitchforks and go after him.
Mike Trout thinks it’s too much to ask baseball players to start the season under quarantine. He’s making $36 million a season, but he sees only “red flags” about a plan to return. Trout is nothing more than another pampered, spoiled brat. It’s time to unmask the Millville fraud.

Yes, let's attack noted sports villain Mike Trout for offering some criticism over a plan that involves sticking 30 MLB teams in Arizona. How dare he!
Many fans have correctly pointed out that Trout's wife is expecting, and the prospective father to be has some ambivalence about quarantining in Arizona when his child is due in the name of entertainment. That, plus calling a local hero and one of the most genuine, nice guys in the league a "fraud" and "spoiled brat" because he's not all in on this plan is really low.
This is why I can’t listen to your show. The guys wife is pregnant. Would you leave your wife while a quarantine is going on just so people have something to watch?
