Photo Emerges of Astros OF Josh Reddick Wearing What Appears to Be Buzzer Under Jersey

If you thought you had seen the last of new evidence from the Houston Astros sign-stealing saga leaked onto social media, you're out of luck.
Shortly after Carlos Beltran made public his decision to step down as manager of the New York Mets, a fairly damning photo was shared to Twitter, which featured Josh Reddick during an interview with FOX Sports after the Astros took down the Yankees in the 2019 ALCS. What stood out from the image was what appeared to be a piece of tape on Reddick's chest, which further fueled the allegations the 'Stros used buzzers as part of their sign stealing.
Astros players have been accused of wearing a buzzer of some sort underneath their jerseys in order to relay signals to batters. This patch on Reddick certainly fits the description of the claims that have been made against the team.
Well, Reddick's wife, Jett, came to his defense on Twitter, calling those who were skeptical "idiots" and claiming the patch was a piece of confetti.
There's no way to truly say whether this is a buzzer used for sign stealing, but considering the scandal weighing over the franchise, it's certainly not out of the question.
