Multiple Photos of Jose Altuve Celebrating With His Shirt off Prove He's Really Not That Shy
The Houston Astros have been exposed for cheating, and the allegations continue to get more wild with each passing day. The latest accusation to emerge suggests that Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman wore buzzers under their jerseys, which allowed them to be notified what pitch was coming after the illegal use of video decoded the opposing team's signs.
The allegations resulted in a clip from the 2019 ALCS resurfacing, in which Altuve hit a walk-off home run against Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman. As he approached home plate he appeared to have told teammates not to rip off his jersey. Many believe he was trying to prevent the buzzer under his uniform from being exposed, but his agent, Scott Boras, said the slugger was merely being shy and didn't want to be shirtless on the field.
Well, based on some of his previous celebrations, that doesn't seem to be the case.
Altuve sure doesn't appear to be all that shy. Focusing more on being fully clothed rather than relishing the fact that he just sent his team to the World Series is certainly a unique way to celebrate.
A bit of a convenient time to get shy, eh Jose?
Already marred by this entire controversy, more evidence of sign stealing and the possible use of buzzers certainly leave a sour taste in the mouths of fans.
