Felipe Vazquez's days in Pittsburgh -- or any MLB city -- may be over following his shocking Tuesday arrest for solicitation of a minor and statutory sexual assault.

After Vazquez was placed on administrative leave by the league, it is being reported that the Pirates have completely cleared out the reliever's locker at PNC Park.

While nothing can be confirmed on their end just yet, this move by the Pirates seems to indicate that the team does not plan on Vazquez pitching for them ever again. It's also worth noting that the player's baseball future will be determined based on the process of the law playing itself out in full, and not before.

Transitioning to his role on the team, there is no doubt that Vazquez is the best pitcher in the staff and one of the best in the entire sport. That's why Pittsburgh placed a steep price on the electric lefty in trade talks before the deadline.

However, several reports regarding Vazquez's role in the locker room have indicated that the 28-year-old was a factor in the Pirates' toxic clubhouse this season.

To be clear, though, nothing known to the public would have indicated that Vazquez was capable of the horrible things with which he's been charged; the news seemed to surprise the Pirates clubhouse and the baseball world at large.

No matter what role Vazquez played on the team, Pittsburgh, along with the other 31 teams in this league, should have no future plans of employing Vazquez unless a jury of his peers ends up clearing him of every last criminal charge.
