Pirates Pitcher Trevor Williams Hilariously Jokes About Way to Combat Sign-Stealing
By Ian Anderson

Sign stealing has become a huge issue in the MLB recently, but how could we put an end to it?
Well, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Trevor Williams came up with a brilliant solution...or, ya know, maybe he's just messing with us. Yeah, we'll go with the latter.
Best way to combat sign stealing is to not give signs. Ever. It’ll speed up the game. Everybody is guessing. Fans think it’ll be a change-up. Catcher wants a heater. I want a slider lmaooooooo NOW WHAT?!

That's right, the best way to stop sign stealing is to get rid of signs all together.
Can you imagine the chaos that would occur if signs were completely removed from baseball?
It won't only keep the hitter guessing, but also the pitcher and catcher. Passed balls would fly by at an all-time high and the claim that baseball is 'boring' would be eradicated almost instantly as you wouldn't find a more hectic sport.
Catcher : i expect a slider

This response to Williams perfectly sums up what would happen as a result of signs being removed from baseball.
Even though Williams' 'suggestion' won't be taken into account, the MLB surely will be looking into alternative options in order to prevent this from happening again.
