The entire baseball world was stunned to learn this week of Pirates closer Felipe Vazquez's arrest for possession of child pornography, having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl in Florida, and trying to solicit a girl under the age of 16 for sex in Pennsylvania.

In response to the loss of their closer due to these horrific acts, the feeling in the Pirates clubhouse remains a mix of dejection, disappointment, and outright disgust.

And in a post-mortem by Dejan Kovacevic on Wednesday, one anonymous veteran of the team made his feelings on what he would have done to Vazquez perfectly clear, had he known about these incidents prior to their public release.

This is more than GM Neal Huntington or owner Bob Nutting have offered on the matter, as they have yet to comment on Vazquez, who was placed on the restricted list.

Additionally, starting pitcher Chris Archer called the clubhouse "somber," while manager Clint Hurdle stressed that Vazquez is in the past, and the team needs to move forward.

After admitting to the acts, Vazquez, 28 has almost certainly thrown his last pitch in the major leagues. And it doesn't look like anyone will be sad to see him go.
