Placing All the Blame on Dak Prescott for Cowboys' Loss to Saints is Idiotic
Here we are on early Monday morning and once again Dak Prescott is public enemy No. 1 across our beautiful United States. And again, it's a complete and total joke.
Dallas suffered a heartbreaking 12-10 loss to the New Orleans Sunday night in primetime, and Prescott is being savaged left and right for the defeat. For everyone bashing on No. 4, you've got to be kidding, right?
Oh yeah, let's completely wipe away the fact Prescott deserves a handsome new deal over one loss. But, the fact of the matter is you can't blame this one on Dak. Sure the man struggled, but his team also didn't help him one bit.
The sure-handed Jason Witten lost a fumble, as did Ezekiel Elliott, who, by the way, had 18 rushes for 35 yards. Meanwhile, Amari Cooper was called for how many ridiculous offensive pass interferences? Oh, and let's not forget Randall Cobb's hands were covered in butter, as the veteran couldn't catch anything thrown his way. He dropped two key passes that would have extended drives.
You've hit the nail on the head there, Mr. Ochoa.
Look, you can blame Dak all you want, but it's completely unwarranted. This loss was not solely on him. In fact, it was far from it. He's been dynamite throughout the season and for fans to turn on him right now is completely ludicrous.
