Potential New Bears 100th Anniversary Throwback Jerseys Might've Leaked Online

In honor of the Chicago Bears 100th anniversary taking place next week, the organization reportedly plans to unveil a new classic jersey for one of their games for the upcoming 2019 season.

But someone may have already soiled the surprise as one fan stumbled upon a new Bears jersey at the store's Algonquin, IL locations. Paul Lukas of Uni-watch.com took to Twitter to disclose the mystery-kit and it appears to replicate the franchise's signature 1936 threads.

The white jersey has alternating navy and orange stripes on the shoulders and the bottom of the sleeves and the numbers are in a block font, obviously different than the Bears' current uniforms. Have a look.

Per the Chicago Sun Times, this new apparel will replace the Bears' famous "Monsters of the Midway" throwback that they rocked in 2019. The outlet also reports that Chicago will continue to wear their navy, white, and alternate orange jersey for the 2019 campaign.

As always, we tell fans to remain cautious and not appeal to rumors like these. Should these in fact be the throwback jerseys, Bears fans are in for a treat.
