With Bowl season officially underway, it's not outlandish to start thinking about the 2020 college football season. We know, there's still plenty of football to be played, but, like all campaigns, it will be gone before you know it.

Let's keep this particular discussion, however, centered on Clemson and their 2020 quarterback depth chart behind Trevor Lawrence, who, barring injury, will be a Heisman favorite for Dabo Swinney and the Tigers.

Clemson's QB Depth Chart Behind Trevor Lawrence

Chase Brice, Junior

Let's take it back to September of 2018 when Clemson squared off against Syracuse. Chase Brice was forced into action when Lawrence exited with a head injury. The Tigers' offense was struggling and seemed to be on the verge of an upset loss that would've had drastic implications to their playoff hopes.

Brice finished 7 of 13 for 83 yards, most of which came on the game-winning drive that he conducted. He should, by all means, take the No. 2 spot in 2020.

Taisun Phommachanh, Sophomore

People forget that Taisun Phommachanh was the highest-rated prospect in Connecticut. With an impressive camp, the No. 7 overall recruit in the 2019 class (per 247Sports) could give Brice a run for his money for the spot behind Lawrence with an impressive camp.

The 4-star prospect projects as a dual-threat QB, but completed 70.5% of his passes for 26 touchdowns and one interception as a junior. He would rather spin it. Make no mistake about it.

Don't sleep on Phommachanh.

DJ Uiagalelei, Freshman

How does the No. 1 ranked pro-style quarterback in the country sound, Clemson fans? That's what you're getting in 5-star signal caller DJ Uiagalelei, who just signed with the Tigers last week during the Early Siging Period. While he's not expected to come in and start right away, he'll look to compete the second he arrives on campus.

The 6-4.5, 245-pounder had 30 offers throughout his recruitment, picking Clemson over Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma and other powerhouses across the country.

There you have it, folks.

To say that Swinney has an abundance of riches in Death Valley would be underselling his QB depth for 2020.
