George Kittle had another 1,000-yard season with the San Francisco 49ers in 2019, continuing his swift rise into stardom.

He finished the year with 1,053 receiving yards and five touchdowns, and while his production was down from 2018, his numbers led him to being named the best player in the NFL by Pro Football Focus.

PFF notes how Kittle's blocking is what helped boost his overall value and make him the true most valuable player in the NFL. He finished the year with a PFF grade of 95.0, which is the highest of anyone in the league.

While PFF's measurements and rankings are by no means the standard, it represents a unique way of rating talent, and Kittle ticks off all its boxes with his play on the field.

Regardless of whether Kittle truly is the NFL's best player, football fans will be privy to an outstanding matchup in the Super Bowl featuring the undisputed best tight ends in the game: Kittle and Travis Kelce.
