Progressive Field Scoreboard Completely Botched Spelling and Player Pictures During All-Star Game
By Michael Luciano

To paraphrase the late Rodney Dangerfield, New York Mets utility man and budding star Jeff McNeil gets no respect at all.
With the league leader in batting average stepping up to the plate at the 2019 MLB All-Star Game in Cleveland, the Progressive Field scoreboard operator once again managed to foul it up, putting a pitcher of teammate and starter Jacob deGrom next to McNeil's stats.

While you could forgive the interns for messing up once, this is the THIRD time that there has been a typo or mistake up on the board in this game. First, they misspelled Cubs catcher Willson Contreras' first name.

Looks like auto-correct got the better of them there.
Right before McNeil came up to bat, Colorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl had to see his name misspelled as "Davis Dahl".

While the All-Star festivities have been a solid A+ up to this point, there might be a new opening in the Indians' graphics department after a rough night at Progressive Field.
