By Michael Luciano

The tragic death of George Floyd has sparked protests in major cities all over the country, with Cleveland's version even going so far as to cause damage to Progressive Field, home of the Indians.
The team store at the stadium was broken into and looted. It remains unclear if anyone was injured during this act or how much memorabilia was stolen.

This comes just days after the College Football Hall of Fame was also looted in Atlanta.
A curfew from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. has been enforced for the city of Cleveland, and Ohio governor Mike DeWine has mobilized the Ohio National Guard to deal with some of the protesters.
Some concerned locals have taken it upon themselves to clean up the area around the stadium in an effort to rehabilitate the sports complex.
Still planning to meet at Progressive Field at 9 a.m. and clean until 12 p.m. when the curfew goes into effect.

SAFETY is the No. 1 priority. If you don’t feel comfortable coming out, it is beyond understandable.
If you’re going to join us, prepare for glass. #CLEanTheLand
Not even the home ballpark of Cleveland's sole baseball team is safe from protesters showing their frustration. All we can hope for now is that these demonstrations stay non-violent and that the area around Progressive Field is cleaned up as soon as possible.
