By Adam Weinrib

Ja Morant, the secondary prize of the NBA Draft, will be on the mend when the big day comes.
The electric point guard will reportedly undergo a minor knee scope to remove a loose body, sidelining him for three-to-four weeks of total recovery.
ESPN Sources: Point guard Ja Morant — the projected No. 2 pick in the June NBA Draft — will undergo a minor scope on his right knee to remove a “loose body” on Monday. He’s expected to be fully recovered in 3-to-4 weeks.

Let's cross our fingers and hope his bounce returns in full force, and quickly.
Morant, the highlight factory who came from a small school in Murray State to rival even Zion Williamson's buzz (we said rival, not surpass), seems targeted for the Memphis Grizzlies, allowing them to usher in a new era while exploring exciting trade options for veteran PG Mike Conley Jr.
This procedure will likely not affect Morant's draft status, nor the consensus opinion that he'll flourish in the league from Day One as a creator and shot-maker.

Potentially, a series of strong workouts from RJ Barrett, coupled with Morant's absence, could flip-flop their two draft selections, leaving the Knicks with a chance to select their point guard of the future.
