Rafael Devers Has Absolutely Dominated the Jays This Season
By Charles Nason

Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers has 70 RBIs this season, sitting at third in the MLB. 28 of those have come against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Throughout 2019, Devers has completely obliterated the Blue Jays in nearly every game. Boston and Toronto have played 16 games so far in 2019, and Devers, who's appeared in just 15, has gotten at least one RBI in 12 of those. Devers' Blue Jay domination includes games with 3, 4 and 6 RBIs.
Rafael Devers has 28 RBI against the Blue Jays in 2019, the most ever for a player in a season against Toronto. That is the most RBI for any player against any single opponent since Gary Sheffield had 28 RBI against the Orioles in 2005.

That stat is unbelievable. Devers has taken control of the Blue Jays more so than any other player in the past 14 years has dominated any one specific team. With only one more series between the Red Sox and Blue Jays, Devers only has three more games to raise that number. However, considering the way he's played against Toronto this year, he'll probably end up with over 30 RBIs against the Blue Jays in 2019.
Another #BlueJays loss, another big day at the plate for Rafael Devers.

He's is batting .441 (26-for-59) with 22 walks and 12 extra-base hits in 15 games against Toronto this season. Here's @GregorChisholm on the Jays loss against the Red Sox: https://t.co/NCFmUBsyFP
Devers, the emerging 22 year-old star, is a confirmed Blue Jay killer.
