Raheem Mostert Pledges to Return Damien Williams' Super Bowl Jersey After Joking About Selling it
By Jack Murphy

After suffering a devastating loss at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs, San Franscico 49ers running back Raheem Mostert ended up with Damien William's jersey after the two agreed to an exchange. As a pair of halfbacks who both went undrafted only to find themselves playing in the big game, it was a special moment.
This is great ?

Mostert later posted the picture of Williams' jersey online, cracking a quick joke before announcing that the Chiefs running back, who ran for over 100 yards and scored two total touchdowns in the game, deserves to keep the jersey himself.
Contemplated putting this on eBay ? but this belongs to YOU and yours! You did your thing. Hand this down for generations! PROUD OF YOU BRO! Much love. #undraftedRBs @TooLoose26 pic.twitter.com/RL4oIgtQhr

While Mostert's claim that he was going to sell William's jersey was merely a light-hearted joke, he had nothing but praise for his Super Bowl opponent. Wanting the jersey to reunite with its original owner is a classy move.
After losing in such heartbreaking fashion, to see that good sportsmanship can still previal is a great sign to see from the San Francisco running back.
While Mostert may not be a Super Bowl champ this season, he leads a path of humility. He deserves a tip of the cap for this show of grace.
