Raiders Fan's Amazing Sign Suggests He May Be on the Run From the Law
By Scott Rogust
The Week 10 edition of Thursday Night Fooball was far from the cleanest game, but it did provide down-to-the-wire action.
In Oakland, the Raiders defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 26-24, thanks to a late go-ahead touchdown from rookie running back Josh Jacobs and a game-sealing interception from quarterback Philip Rivers with less than 30 seconds remaining.
With the Raiders set to conclude their tenure in Oakland as they move to Las Vegas, fans of Raider Nation aren't going to miss a home game for the world-- Including this fan, who apparently decided to skip his court appearance in order to attend the Raiders-Chargers prime time game.
A gutsy decision for that fan, who we're hoping was just being really, really sarcastic.
In any event, at least he covered his face...kind of.
Skipping a court date is a pretty serious offense, but this fan got to see the Raiders defeat a division rival in the Chargers one last time in the Bay. That's worth its weight in gold. We sure hope it's worth the subsquent run from the law, though, because that's not going to be fun.
The likely situation is that this is all simply in jest. But in case it isn't, bravo to this enterprising man. Bravo.
