Raiders Officially Have a Name for Their Las Vegas Stadium

The Oakland Raiders are leaving town and heading to Las Vegas. Their first season in Sin City will be in 2020, and on Monday, they officially named their new stadium.
The home of the Raiders will be called Allegiant Stadium.

“We’re thrilled that our future home will be known as Allegiant Stadium,” said Raiders President Marc Badain. “As the hometown airline, Allegiant is the perfect partner to showcase the incredible support we continue to receive from the Southern Nevada community. We are grateful to all involved who worked diligently to make Allegiant Stadium a reality.”

Allegiant has been rumored as the main sponsor and owner of the naming rights of the $1.9 billion, 65,000-seat stadium since May, making this moment more of a photo-op to make it official.
They'll be paying between $20 million and $25 million a year to have their name on the building, making the Raiders' move even more of a reality.
