The Raiders just added another player who will live up to their hard-nosed reputation, or at least his name will. According to ProFootballTalk, Oakland signed defensive back D.J. Killings Thursday, though it remains to be seen whether Killings will finally get an opportunity to sniff regular season action.

Killings will join an already-violent roster which consists of new additions Vontaze Burfict and Richie Incognito, two players certainly not known for their acts of kindness.

In all seriousness, Killings will probably leave the violence to those guys, because at 6'0," 185 pounds, he's not the most intimidating guy on the field. He's spent time with the Colts, Eagles, Patriots, and Packers since the Patriots signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2017, but has yet to make an in-game appearance in the regular season.

In four years at the University of Central Florida, he compiled 99 tackles, 1 sack and 5 interceptions. Now he hopes to be given an opportunity to showcase his worth on the field for the Raiders.
