Raiders Went Deep During Interview With TCU DT Ross Blacklock
By Karl Rasmussen
NFL Draft prospects are going through the gauntlet of Combine interviews, and early on we've already heard inklings of some rather bizarre moments which have gone down behind closed doors.
TCU defensive tackle Ross Blacklock, who had 21 formal interviews scheduled, said he'd prepared for strange questions from teams. Unfortunately, despite all of his preparation, the Raiders still managed to catch him completely off guard when they sat him down.
That was probably a pretty uncomfortable moment for Blacklock, who up until that moment was unaware of the mass of parking tickets he'd racked up.
Fortunately it looks like Blacklock has since paid off the tickets. No harm no foul, though we expect the look on his face upon finding out about the parking violations was something to behold.
Blacklock played two seasons at TCU, featuring in 12 games during both his freshman and junior year. His sophomore campaign, however, was derailed due to an injury sustained during practice. Last year he racked up 40 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
