Worker Dies After Falling '50 or 60 Feet' During Construction of Rams' New SoFi Stadium
By Alexander Wolz

The Los Angeles Rams are set to have a new home this upcoming NFL season. SoFi Stadium is currently under construction and bound to be a hotspot in LA. However, things have taken a pause for the worst of reasons.
Earlier on Friday, a construction worker died on site following a tragic fall.

Few details are known at the moment, but a report from the LA Times states "the worker fell from a height of around 50 or 60 feet while working in the southeast corner of the stadium."
This is not the first string of bad news to hit the stadium project either. Workers have been hit hard by COVID-19, with 12 confirmed cases, including seven in just the last few days.

While work on the stadium nears its completion in time for the currently scheduled NFL preseason, construction has taken a pause for the time being. Considering the current crises across the country and this horrific accident, perhaps that may be for the best.
