The new controversial NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement has been the talk of the league since the close of this year's Super Bowl. Because of the uncertainty here, we've seen plenty of additional discord ahead of free agency.

After multiple stars came out and said they were rejecting the proposal before it was ultimately forwarded to a full vote, the latest one to do so on the eve of its more widespread release was Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley. He sent out a tweet Thursday morning telling the world to vote no, in no uncertain terms.

Well, that about does it for that take!

Several tenured NFL stars with high salaries have come out in vocal opposition of the agreement including Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers' union representative, and Richard Sherman. Gurley's teammate, lineman Aaron Donald, even responded to his tweet, supporting his rhetoric.

This CBA would see an increase in playoff bound teams, an increase in regular season games, a new revenue split that some players feel remains unfair, increased postseason pay, an increase in minimum salary, and a decrease in disability benefits. The 17th regular season game would come with a proportionally low addition in player revenue.

Big stars like Gurley, Donald, Rodgers, and Sherman don't see the revenue split as particularly fair to the league's high earners. The vote ends on Mar. 12, so we'll learn much more about the league's labor future then. It could be ratified, or it could be back to the drawing board.
