Randall Cobb expected to play vs. the 49ers

The Green Bay Packers offense is about to get even stronger. For the second part of the season, Aaron Rodgers didn't have his old friend Randall Cobb out there on the field with him making plays.
Cobb, who signed a one-year deal with the team, underwent core muscle surgery and has missed a good chunk of the year. Now, though, Cobb is back practicing with the team and he should be ready to go for this weekend's meeting with San Francisco.
Roughly 7 weeks after he had surgery to repair a core muscle issue, #Packers WR Randall Cobb is expected to play this week, per coach Matt LaFleur. Another injury boost.

This is great for Rodgers and the offense to have Cobb back. We'll see how much of an impact he'll make in this one.
