Marcell Ozuna is one of many notable free agents on the market this offseason, with multiple teams expressing interest in the star outfielder.

There have been rumors about where he will ultimately end up, but one random reporter claims to have the latest scoop on Ozuna's future. Frank Castillo reports that Ozuna will be signing a deal with the Chicago White Sox.

The tweet is obviously in Spanish, but the translation says Ozuna is traveling to the US tomorrow to sign with the White Sox and the deal will be announced Monday.

Well this is certainly big news, if it's to be believed.

Castillo is a sports journalist from the Dominican Republic, though he's not verified on Twitter, which has led to multiple people questioning the authenticity of his reporting here.

We're still waiting for further verification on these reports, so for now White Sox fans just need to hang tight to wait until any official word comes out on this potential signing.

If these reports prove to be false it would be a major let-down for fans in the Southside who have been anxiously awaiting their next signing after inking Yasmani Grandal to a big deal.

The White Sox are looking to vault back into contention in 2020, so the links to Ozuna certainly make sense, though it remains unclear whether there's truly any substance behind this latest report.
