Random Woman Punched UFC Fighter Felice Herrig in the Face Over Literally a Penny
By Alex Coffman
A penny saved is a penny earned, but Felice Herrig didn't see it that way in Las Vegas. After attending UFC 246, Herrig saw a women stop in the middle of the streets of Las Vegas to pick up... a penny.
Herrig was appalled when she saw this, and gave the women a piece of her mind. Explaining the events on her Instagram story afterwards, Herrig said, "I was giving her (expletive) about it. I'm like, 'It's just a penny'. Then she got all mad and then got all up in my face."
The end result wasn't great for the fighter!
Obviously unhappy with such harsh pushback, Herrig explained that she then told the women to hit her if she had such an issue with what she'd said.
"And she (expletive) punched me," Herrig continued. "Then, I punched her back twice-ish. She gave me a bloody nose and I never bleed my own blood. I was very upset.”
The MMA fighter said she was signaling to the "Vegas security" to break up the altercation, because Herrig knew she'd get in trouble if she was too violent, but security never showed up.
Herrig seemed to get out of the altercation with nothing but a bloody nose, but that is definitely not the way you want to end your night after UFC 246 as a spectator.
