Randy Moss Posts Humorous Thanksgiving Tweet About NBC Sports Announcer With Same Name As Him
By Jerry Trotta

If you're on social media you are probably aware of the rapidly evolving "Im going to tell my kids this was" meme.
Well, on Thursday, NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss decided to wish his followers a Happy Thanksgiving with a clever tweet about his iconic Turkey Day performance in 1998 when he was a member of the Minnesota Vikings.
To partake in the popular trend, "The Freak" provided a picture of NBC Sports commentator, Randy Moss.
Imma tell my grandkids that he shredded the Cowboys a new 1 on this day!Happy Thanksgiving from Randy Moss!!❤❤❤❤ pic.twitter.com/I3NDM43Lfm

Imagine sharing a name with the one of the most talented wideouts to ever step foot on a football field?
We can only imagine what kind of hardships commentator Moss endures on a weekly basis. After all he is on live television quite often. For NBC, he is a horse racing analyst and does play-by-play for both the NBA and college football. Additionally, he is a host on the Golf Channel and even dabbles in field reporting for the NFL Network.
The best part of it all? He joined in on the fun on Twitter with an equally hilarious reply while donning Moss' No.84 Vikings jersey.
I have never shredded the Cowboys like @randymoss did on this day in 1998 (they had it coming), but I am completely shredding our turkey. Happy Thanksgiving to all! https://t.co/VQORpLU6lM pic.twitter.com/Sir3E7XStL

While NBC's Moss admits he's never been quite as good a receiver as the former Vikings, he looks ready to whip up one mean Thanksgiving meal.
